GENERAL

In addition to collection/drop-off at Faro Airport, we can deliver cars at your hotel or resort anywhere in the Algarve area upon request, without any cost for bookings with at least 6 days. On bookings with less than 6 days, there will be a delivery charge between 15 EUR and 40 EUR according to the delivery address.

Rent it here, leave it there" is free of charge throughout the Algarve for bookings with at least 6 days

Minimum drivers age is 23

Drivers license must be valid in Portugal and held for more than 2 years. Please ensure to have all necessary documents available.

Deliveries in the Airport between 22:00 and 8:50 are subject to a surcharge of 20 EUR

Deliveries to accommodation between 20:00 and 7:50 are subject to a surcharge of 20 EUR. This also applies to bookings with less than 7 days for delivery on the accommodation.

If you collect the car in the Algarve and return it in Lisbon (or vice-versa) there will be an extra charge - please contact us for price

On cars delivered excessively dirty, a 75 EUR cleaning fee will be charged.

RESERVATION

To make a reservation we must have your flight number (if you are travelling from outside Portugal)

Requests for deliveries outside the airports must have the delivery address and time. In these cases, clients MUST call our contact numbers at least 2 hours prior the delivery time to confirm the arrival/booking

Reservations must be done not less than 72 hours in advance of your arrival in Portugal to guarantee a confirmation of your booking

Baby/Booster seat(s) are available upon request. One baby/booster seat is free of charge. Please mention this within the reservation form to guarantee availability

Each car may have two named drivers without any extra cost. A third driver would cost € 20.

PRICE INFORMATION

All prices are quoted in Euros. The exchange rate will be calculated by the credit card company on the day that the vehicle is paid for

One rental day is equal 24 hours - Each fraction of a day is considered as an additional day - Tolerance 2 hours

Rate for 3 days is 50 % of the weekly rate

Rate for more than 3 and less than 7 days is calculated on a 6 day pro-rata i.e. 7/6 x number of days

Rate for more than 7 days is calculated on a 7 day pro-rata i.e. number of days/7 x number of days

Full payment is required upon signing the rental agreement. The payment has to be made with a valid credit card (Visa/Master/€Card, Diners Club or American Express)

STANDARD RESERVATION

• Unlimited mileage in Portugal

• One additional driver per vehicle

• Collision damage waiver, Theft Protection and Third Party Cover - Insurance with low excess

• One Baby/Booster seat Airport Service from 8:00 until 23:00

• Free delivery and collection at your Algarve accomodation for bookings with minimum of 6 days rental close to the following locations: Praia da Luz, Lagos, Alvor, Portimão, Silves, Lagoa, Carvoeiro, Armação de Pêra, Albufeira, Loulé, Vilamoura, Almancil, Faro, Tavira and Monte Gordo

• Airport Fast Track - A personal service with your car waiting on our car park outside arrivals. Your contract completed right there in the airport and your holiday starts without delay

• VAT

OPTIONAL EXTRAS

• Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) Insurance is not included. The rates are given in the Insurance Section or on the homepage

• Insurance for driving in Spain - 50.00 EUR/contract

• Personal accident insurance - 4.00 EUR per day (available as option when signing rental agreement)

• Roof Rack - Only available to small cars - 50.00 EUR

• Extra baby/booster seats - 3.00 EUR - Maximum charge of 35 EUR per seat

• Delivery/Collection at accommodation in the Algarve for bookings with less than a week will cost between 15 EUR and 40 EUR according to the delivery address.

NOTE: Baby/Booster seats - We have standard forward-facing child seats suitable for children from 6 months to 2 1/2 years of age. We also have Child seat booster cushions available for older children. Please bring a towel or seat cover to help us keep them clean. If you have any doubts about the suitability of our child seats, we recommend bringing one of your own.

INSURANCE

All contracts have standard third party insurance with excess.

If you decide not to purchase CDW insurance you would be liable to pay an excess figure in the event of damage to the vehicle.

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) Insurance is not included. The rates are:

• Groups A, B and C - 6 € / day (to waiver € 500.00 excess)

• Groups D, E and F - 7 € / day (to waiver € 750.00 excess)

• Other Groups - 10 € / day (to waiver € 1,000.00 excess)

PAI (Personal Accident Insurance) plus 4 € / day (optional)

For example, if you book a Group A vehicle and do not take out CDW Insurance the maximum that you would be liable for is € 500.00.

Items not covered by CDW Insurance include damage to tyres/windows, loss of keys, damage to internal uphostery and refuelling with incorrect fuel type.

DEPOSIT FOR 7 & 9 SEATER VEHICLES

A 15% deposit is required in advance for all 7 and 9 seater vehicle rentals. This deposit is fully refundable if an email cancellation is sent at least 72 hours prior to the vehicle hire start time.

CREDIT CARD DEPOSIT

When collecting the rental vehicle, the car hire company require a valid credit card deposit for security reasons. The credit card deposit will be fully refundable when car is returned damage and loss free - Cheques or cash cannot be accepted.

A valid credit card in the name of the person signing the rental contract is required.
